Jesuit will accept sophomore and junior transfers on a space-available basis. Decisions on transfer applicants will be based on previous merit, a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA, and the availability of space within the class. Jesuit does not accept senior transfers unless they are coming from another Jesuit high school or are moving from out of state. Mid-year transfers will be considered on a case-by-case basis by calling the Office of Admissions at (916) 480-2127.

The application process for transfer students includes the following:

  • For applicants to the 10th grade, you will need to sit for the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Click here for more information.
  • All applicants: Complete the online application along with the submission of current year teacher recommendation forms and official transcripts.
  • All Transfer applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the school year. All applicants, accompanied by at least one parent, will participate in an admissions interview. The interviews last approximately 15-20 minutes and will be arranged once the transfer application is complete.
  • All admissions decisions are considered conditional upon receipt and review of the applicant’s final transcript.

If you have any questions about the transfer process, please contact our Director of Admissions at admissions@jesuithighschool.org.
