Providing our students with the opportunity to serve others is a defining characteristic of a Jesuit education. Theology courses, peer-led retreats, and service opportunities enable our students to understand how they can make a difference in the world by using their talents and faith and become Men for Others.

Men for Others

We offer a four-year, structured program, coordinated with the Theology Department, that guides students into direct service with our neighbors who experience acute need or some form of marginalization. Students volunteer with people experiencing chronic hunger, with children in under-resourced schools, with young adults living with developmental delays, with people living in homelessness, with elderly adults in assisted living centers, and with agencies responding to, as Pope Francis states in Laudato Si, “both the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor.”
